The Humanitarian Project
pedaling for a drinking water drilling at the ama high school in boy-rabe
Inspired by the realization of such a project and aware of the disastrous humanitarian situation in the world, I decided to make it one of the main objectives of my adventure by trying to raise the funds necessary for drilling drinking water for the Ama high school in Boy-Rabe and its 1800 students in Central Africa.
Created in 2014 following the principles of the 1901 law, the non-profit association Time to Help France advocates national and international solidarity . From its headquarters in Pantin (93), the association organizes targeted actions to combat extreme poverty and inequality.
Composed of a small team (10 people), the association is fortunate to be able to count on around fifty volunteers who are always there and several local partners in France and abroad (Horizon éducation, Foodkind, Le temps d'aide Mali, Utopia 56 etc.). Thus, targeted actions are carried out each year in 7 countries : in France , Greece , Mali , Burkina Faso , Togo, Central Africa and Benin .
In France, the actions are mainly focused on Paris and consist of carrying out patrols . In Greece, food parcels are distributed regularly to migrants. These distributions are also carried out in Africa where the association drills drinking water wells in 4 countries in addition to food aid.
The Kaïros project was born from the desire of Achille, a young volunteer from Time to Help, to give voice to the most deprived during a bike ride. Time to Help France supports this solidarity initiative and wishes to multiply humanitarian actions in the world with the help of the funds collected during this adventure!
